I need Help!! (installing bandpass box)

I am going to purchase a bandpass system but thier is 1 small problem. I have a 2000 Mustang v6, and on the roof of the trunk their is a black shroud that to me only looks like it holds the amps for the rear speakers (the mach 460 sounds system). It seems to be hollow, The bandpass box will not fit to the back of the trunk if i cant get this out. How do I take down that shroud?

I'm not positive I know what your talking about... Get some pics.

Maybe somebody will come in and know what u mean, I just don't see exactly what u mean.
are you talking about the whole rack that holds the amps? Or just a part of it?
I need the middle part gone so i can fit the box, can i cut it? doesnt bother me if the whole thing comes out
Get pictures cause you might just be talking about the bracket that the rear seats attach to.

Or I might be wrong. :D
I got it guys, thx for your help, i got the shroud / box out and im planning on putting the 6x8's up where they should be, on the metal thing and i should have enough room for the bandpass box. Ill get pics for ya when im done
get 6x9s thats what i did just cut a little bit of metal
i just bought the bandpass system from a friend, I have to buy a radio for my old car and put my alpine in the stang so 6x9's have to wait a lil bit..
bah, 6x8 vs 6x9 is not a big difference that you would notice. esp not being in the front of the car with the rear speakers being 6x9. It's not worth cutting metal for.

The only thing you don't get with a 5x7/6x8 compared to the 6x9 is more of a choice with the 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, or even 5-way speaker.
so it can be a little better, or w/ higher X-way speakers, but I don't think it's that big of a deal, still not worth cutting metal for.
its worth it trust me you can get 6x9 that are like 280 watts and 5x7 are like 150 watt
