its worth it trust me you can get 6x9 that are like 280 watts and 5x7 are like 150 watt

That doesnt matter when your powering it with your headunit. Plus those are not rms numbers those are peak.

Rear speakers and "ideal soundstage" should not go together in a sentence... Unless that sentence is something like: You don't produce an ideal soundstage by adding rear speakers. Or: Rear speakers sure do suck for producing an ideal soundstage.

You don't create a soundstage in front of you by adding speakers behind you. There is a very small gain by adding rear speakers, which is outweighed heavily by all the phasing problems you introduce. At best your rear speakers are doing nothing (90* out of phase), at worse they are cancelling out your sound (180*.)

Not to mention the fact that Crutchfield sells speakers.. so of course they want you to buy more than 2
