I'd be moving my car or putting camera on it. Hell if choking or punching, I'd be cutting some hands and legs off. So they can't drive no more. Probably a drunk.

Get a police report and they will say it's not your fault and insurance will pay for and not penalize you. Somebody hit and ran on my old mustang so I know how you feel. Good luck with the repairs

What about a deductible?

I didn have to but there is a clause in post policies for instances like this, I can't tell you exactly but my girlfriends mom works for statefarm so I can find out

I still had to pay my deductible in KY when my car got swiped

if you have Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage. It normally requires a police report and has a $250 deductible.

This is exactly why the few times I have had to park on the street, I always cringe. Specially with you having a dark car.

I know a few people said kids, but with a car that dark it could have been an elderly person who can't see in the dark very well, and pair that too a really dark car.

Lol last week I was making a left turn and some beeyech rear ended me at a few mph. I guess she thought i was going to go wot and drift through the corner to escape her?

It's for reasons like this to why I'm looking for an in-car DVR. Started a thread in the General Questions hoping someone has done something. I'm also tired of a$$holes like yours that sideswiped you car. Happened to my wife's car at work no less. Hope all goes well with the repairs. BTW my deductible was $500.
