i love flowmasters!!! you cant get the signature mustang sound without them. quality hasnt really been a problem for me or my dad.
what planet are you from? Flowmasters have nothing to do with the sound of a stang:lol: I personally think they are over rated and sound like crapola. Go with the Magnapacks or the Mac's.

Shop around locally at the muffler shop where you are at. Flowmasters are the #1 selling performance muffler around almost every shop sells them and most will give you a decent price if they do the exhaust for you. But shop around look to the locally owned shops instead of the big name shops who tend to be way over priced. I got 2 dynomax mufflers complete with all the piping for the dual exhaust and installation for 250.00. They orginally put on Flowmasters but after 3 days I had them take them off and put on Dynomax. I do a lot of interstate driving and the drone at normal Highway speed was not good.

Maybe you should get the village idiot award with that statement. I will hold off on the award there might be a worse statement on the forums. But I will let you know. Right now you are leading though:uhh: :disgust:

I don't feel like starting a new post on this subject, so i'll just post here. I went to the local muffler shop right beside my apt today to see about side exhaust. He called his rep, and was told a lil over 200 a piece for flowmaster muffler and like 169 a piece for some magna something...never heard of it. Not magnaflows or magnapacks...but neways, he said like 500 for all of it. These are mufflers with in and out on same side and all the pipe bending cuz i'm wanting it out the side. He said he didn't want to cut off the stock y-pipe..instead he wanted to just cut into it on the passenger side and leave the y-pipe connected and functional..just with an extra hole for the passenger sdie exhaust...this sounded extremely fishy to me. On the other hand, he has gt take off's from the muffler back he said he'll sell me for 100...so I may just go that route to get rid of stock exhaust. What ya think?

if you leave your y, you gain NOTHING.... nothing. Plus, if you want side exhaust that looks good, you have to buy the side panels, (rocker panels) for the side exhaust. Otherwise, it'll look kinda gay... have him put it onto the back of both cats
