I'm sure in CA. there has to be a butt load of amateur drift events. Keep on eye out for 240sx's for some reason, that's the drift car of choice. Because its cheap and easy to work on, I guess. They'll most likely know of local events. You can also check out local car shows and if all else fails you can seek out property owners and see if you can strike a deal to shred tires on there property and make your own drift event. Lol
