So many of you guys and gals say that a CAI is just for looks and sound. Ok cool, I'm buying one anyway. Lets think though, the last few Shelby's I've seen in my dealers used and new lot (6) have a open style CAI. So since Shelby does it, shouldn't that indicate that a aftermarket is good for us too? V6/GT

Open style like ram?

Like a standard cold air intake as opposed to the traditional closed box style

I know ill love it but there is over half the members here that strongly disagree about a open filter intake. If roush and Shelby run it and see gains, who is to say your mustang v6 or GT won't?
