Im debating on if i should buy this 2000 mustang. It has 197,000 miles on it, shift kit, posi rear end, CAI, and is a V6. The guy who owns it is in his late 30's and lives in Adrian, MO (country land). He has all the maintanence records (every 3000 miles) since he bought the car at 95,000 miles. He's selling it for $2000. Is this a good buy?

IMO I would say no because within the next 10,000-15,000 miles you will probably be replacing then engine. which could cost anywhere from $2k-$3k. that's just for another V6 if you want to upgrade to a bigger engine it is more costly cuz you have to do stuff with the cars computer or something. it's really tricky and I'm not an expert but I've read that in forums and stuff. so IMO no lol

offer him 1500. I don't like the mustangs 3.8 my sister has one and it taps. The 4.6 is built stronger. And its a mans car. Get a GT. v6 mustangs are for posers or sissy's. If it was a Gt with that kinda miles id say get it. Like I said. I dont trust there 3.8
