Ok. I'm in VA near dc. I looked on craigslist. It's on sale for $900 and he want's the trasnaction to be done now.

This is his description of the car:

MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE '94 V6 AUTOMATIC 134K MILES
GOOD CONDITION - RIMS 17
CD PIONEER
INTERIOR: RED & BLACK
NEEDS A/C TUNE UP, CONVERTIBLE SWITCH
RUNS GOOD
EMISSION & INSPECTION UP 2 YEARS
THE CAR IS AS IS
I NEED TO SALE ASAP, BECAUSE I HAVE TO LEAVE OUT OF STATE
VERY GOOD PRICE

All it needs it A/C tune up according to him.

Is this too old? Is even mustang a good choice in the first place? Is this worth $900? How long do you guys think it will last from now?

This will be my first car i'm 16 1/2. But surprisingly i found cheap car on craigslist.

Let me know thanks

I would be wary of this. 134k miles for a 1994 Mustang is about average. Figure 10 to 12k miles per year as average. I used to have a '94 convertible Mustang, they are nice cars.
A/C tune-ups can be rather expensive! And how does he know that the convertible switch is bad and not the roof motor?
Can be a great car, still tons of accessories available for it, just ask a lot of questions and look it over.
Ask $800 for it.
