I was doing some maintenance in the engine bay, saw this when i opened the engine oil cap.

Do you mean that little notch? My 2013 does not seem to have that but that surface looks different anyway on mine.

Looks like a timing mark,I cant see it on my 14 probably lands different each time.

The V-Notch is an indexing mark. It's fine...

hahaah good to hear, had a feeling probably nothing since car still pulls hard
