That is pretty cool!
And it is a glimpse into the future of production automobiles.

On a side note, I wonder if Jay has ever been pulled over by a dickhead CHP officer, who couldn't give a crap about his celebrity, while filming one of these driving segments?
I believe, in California, they require that you have a CHP officer following you during filming while on the roadways.

If you look close, There usually is a State Police car around when he is filming. You just can't always see it.

1.8 pounds for a fender? That is pretty amazing......but I do think that the fitment on some of that carbon fiber is not too good. In the first part of the video, it looks like the hood line and fender line on the right front of the car are WAY off. You can see the hood line rise way up over the top edge of the fender.........of course, it's only a little worse than what Ford offers in the metal version.....

I'm thinking the people that are going to be buying this great stuff will not be worried so much about a little bit of nonalignment.
These people are after the performance the weight savings will give them.
