In my 2013 GT, Is it possible to bypass the heater core to avoid replacing it right away? With summer about here, I don't want to start tearing it apart until next fall/winter..

You'd need to disconnect the heater hose assembly from the heater core by the firewall and rig up a piece of hose to connect the two ends.

Replace it and fully flush the system .Rigging it would be as hard as doing it right the first time.
