Led Side Marker Light Replacment Questioun

Hello All I was curious if anyone has replaced the front and rear marker lights with an led set from am, or diode dynamics or equivalent etc...
I was told that on the 2012 since it did not originally come with led's replacing all four markers would cause a low voltage reading on the body control module and the car would always think it has lights out. I would imagine a load resistor would prevent this but all the parts I've seen seem not have one. I know my radio gets static when ever the brake pedal is pressed due to the led high mount replacement not having a resistor so i figured maybe there was some truth to what I heard about the side markers.
Thank you for any replies

What? Hm, interesting. I bought cheap replacements for my 2012 that plug into the factory plug off ebay. Bought two sets bc they’re cheap and ez to replace. Been 2…3…4 years now? No low voltage anything. What happens if the car “thinks the lights are out”? Does it shut down bc of a blown bulb? Haha, being sarcastic if it isn’t obvious. If you’re concerned, don’t throw away the originals and worse case, you’ll have to put them back in, but I doubt you will. If you go with cheap ones, like I did, just know the soldered contacts and wires are flimsy. So be careful. I had to replace one within 6 months but no issue since.
Yes it appears were are lucky and Ford did not adopt the dreaded "CANBUS" on our S197's. That system seems to know if you so much as pick your nose and starts flashing your lights wildly. :) The only light that needs a resistor are the front turn signal bulbs. You will get fast flashing without a resistor for your LED switchback.
Really I thought can bus was mandated on all 2008 + vehicles by our governmental overlords.
Focus, F-150, and Explorer all had CANBUS by 2018. Mustangs still don't have it according to this. I bet the 2024 Mustang does though.
