Led Side Marker Light Replacment Questioun

Hello All I was curious if anyone has replaced the front and rear marker lights with an led set from am, or diode dynamics or equivalent etc...
I was told that on the 2012 since it did not originally come with led's replacing all four markers would cause a low voltage reading on the body control module and the car would always think it has lights out. I would imagine a load resistor would prevent this but all the parts I've seen seem not have one. I know my radio gets static when ever the brake pedal is pressed due to the led high mount replacement not having a resistor so i figured maybe there was some truth to what I heard about the side markers.
Thank you for any replies

Thanks for the replies, I ended up buying the accletec set of cj's since they were e only 50 bucks. Like you said if they don't work just remove them. As for what I heard might happen besides rapid flash is that the bcm will store a fault code up to about 1000 times then burn itself out. But I take this with a huge pile of salt from the posting. I wish my high mount led had a resistor so radio wouldn't have static buts what blue tooth is for anyway.
Yes it appears were are lucky and Ford did not adopt the dreaded "CANBUS" on our S197's. That system seems to know if you so much as pick your nose and starts flashing your lights wildly. :) The only light that needs a resistor are the front turn signal bulbs. You will get fast flashing without a resistor for your LED switchback.
Really I thought can bus was mandated on all 2008 + vehicles by our governmental overlords.
