I'm thinking about purchasing a locked xcal 2. How much will it cost me to get it unlocked and tunes put on it for my car?

Sorry for the delayed Response, this thread slipped under my radar somehow!

In order to use a Locked SCT device you have to send it back to SCT to be UN-locked for a one time fee of $150. Then to buy into our free tunes for life program it will be $150 also.

Most of the time, a brand new device with our Custom tunes already loaded onto it ends up being cheaper then a Locked Device.

I hope this helps! Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Thanks Dan. I see you've been busy posting hahahahaha. I will just save the other half and get a new Tuner.
Thanks again

Yes Sir! A new tuner in cases when the device is locked is usually the cheaper route. Let me know if I can help you out with anything else!
