I dont know whether to get a 1965, 1966, 1967, or a 1968 mustang. I like the mustang coupe the best. Which year do you like the best?

It really shouldn't matter which one I like the best - which one do you like the best?
Personally, I like the '66 coupe - but you're going to own it and drive it - so it's really up to you.

My 1st new car was a '66 coupe. Great car! The 200ci 6 cylinder got 25 mpg on the highway & was very peppy; the V8 was hard to keep rear tires on from the burnouts! From then on, I felt they got too big.
The real classics are 64 1/2- 66. You'll want to check for rust repairs & then matching numbers if you're looking for show/certification.

I prefer the early model 64 1/2, but own a 66 too..

If you plan on hotrodding it, the 67/68 has a larger engine bay that came with the FBB 390-428..
