Hey guys, we have a 2007 v6 mustang that’s been having similar issues for over a month now. The problem is mainly a low idle at 500-600 rpms, it bogs down hard when the fan comes on, and also bogs down anytime the power steering is used, windows are rolled up or down, or the AC is turned on and also the headlights and cab lights dim. It started shutting off when the car was put in park, but that problem resolved when we changed the throttle position sensor. The RPMs fluctuate seemingly at random but usually stays low around 500-600.

We’ve replaced: spark plugs and wires, throttle position sensor, throttle body, alternator, battery, EGR valve, PCV valve, fuel filter, 2 oxygen sensors, and replaced cold air intake with stock air filter.

Also when the fan kicks on, the RPMs go down then come back up, even after the fan has been on for a while.

We’ve checked the voltage and it does drop a little when the fan kicks on. Could a bad fan cause all of these problems?
