I believe I have the Mach 460 with the amp and speaker mount in trunk and door tweeters and door speakers. If I were to get new speakers for the doors, whuch i believe are 5x7's, would they be easy to replace? As in just disconnect the factory ones and reconnect the new ones?

With the correct speaker adaptor it can be plug and play. Go check www.metraonline.com enter your info and it will give you the info for your car. Speaker adaptors are like $14 at best buy. you may be able to find them on amazon cheeper if you can get them with free shipping.
