So yeah, id like to make an auto x track. I am clueless besides knowing I need cones a timer and a big enough space.
I need some pointers on how to make the track, set up and what not.
Also a timer, even on how to make one.
How long of track umm I think that's it, as of my knowledge

^+1 very true any one can put cones up in a empty parking lot lol you might have to go get a permit and set up the track on private property and make sure it is safe

I was thinking of opening a track at one time. Not only that it could be very profitable I would also get the chance to drive a lot more vehicles of every type and size.

Then I realized I have a much better way to make a realy steady income. Thus I moved to Nevada and opened up a Brothel.

I made lots of money, got to take all kinds of RIDES for a drive. So if your ever out in Nevada, stop by my place, "RUMPS to HUMP".

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

You don't have a local SCCA group? That's where I'd start. They have covered all this ground already & know exactly what it takes. For starters, I would expect getting permission from the owners (probably rent as well), permits, insurance, a whole pile of cones, timing gear, a way to keep other folks out of the lot, etc., etc.

It seems like a big deal but I know its not impossible, I just hope I dont go in on this alone,.. regardless if alone it gets done one way. I've been looking but haven't found working sites of 3 NM look like SCCA sites
