Hi!
I have an 03 V6 Mustang with manual transmission. I have noticed that my vehicle seems bogged down when I shift gears. My car runs as if it's in the wrong gear. (When I shift into 2nd, it feels like I'm in 3rd. When I shift to 3rd it feels like I'm in 4th... Etc) I have also noticed that I have to stay in a gear a lot longer before my RPM increases to the point of shifting. For example I am going about 25 mph before shifting out of first. If I shift before then it feels like my car is going sputter.
Although my car is 10 years old it has only 55,000 miles on it, but most of those miles are a lot of stop and go.
Would this be a clutch issue? Transmission issue?
I also just recently had my fuel pump replaced, I doubt that's relevant- but I really don't know that much when it comes to mechanics
