What’s up guys? I’ve been trying to get my 2004 Mustang running and i’m close, I just need a new Master Cylinder. I called and asked for the price and they needed to know if the car has traction control or not. I’m not sure though. the engine size is 3.8. my question is does it matter which master cylinder i buy? (with traction control or no traction control) will they both work the same?

If your car has traction control/abs, there will be a button on the center console, underneath the radio, that says "Trac off", with which the traction control can be disabled.
If I remember correctly, not many, if any, V6 powered New Edge cars were equipped with the traction control/abs system. It just was not considered a necessary component on those particular cars at that time.
