The MBRP axle backs come with their own hangars and are designed to be a direct replacement. You will not need anything extra for the installation. Installation is easy, using a socket you undo the clamp behind your factory mufflers and pull the stock axle back out of the rubber gromits. To install the new axle back just reverse the process. You should be able to do it yourself if youve ever fixed anything on a car or even changed your own oil before, its simple and will actually take less time than changing your oil.

So you broke the hanger off the stock exhuast or just wernt able to remove it? Once the clamps that mate the axleback and pipes that go over your rear axle are removed or losened you should have some wiggle in your axleback. The wire hangars on the axleback are attached to rubber gromets. At this point the muffler/axleback wire hangers should wiggle and pull free from the rubber gromits without unbolting anything else.

Not really special...but I needed a ratcheting wrench...there was a bolt between the top of the muffler and the body that wouldn't allow me to wiggle the muffler off. All I had the first day was sockets..and even the short one wouldn't fit with the clearance I had!
