I have a 5- speed tranny in my 91GT. It makes a mild grinding noise but not all the time. Kinda weird i know. I can be in 2nd gear apprioching a stop light and if the light turns green i push the gas pedal down and the grinding noise sounds as if its coming from the transmission area. Was told that it could be my rear end gesrs going bad and the vibration noise cld be going through to the tranny area????? Any ideas?
