Mustang Mach-E experience?

Haven't been in one, but I do see a few around the Houston highways and they look ok. Not great, but not bad. I agree, it's no real mustang and I'd never trade mine in for one but I can't say it's the ugliest looking thing on the road.

I agree, however putting the Mustang monicker on this vehicle just looks desperate. They should’ve come up with its own unique name instead. As it is, calling this a Mustang puts me off a bit.

Looks like no one on MEVO has touched one (including me).

I’d love to try one. I think Ford should have just gave it the “Mustang” looks (like they’ve done), but just called it a Mach-e. Leave off the Mustang name and I bet they still sell the same. We know now why they didn’t name it the Lightening lol.

It’s a shame they named it as a Mustang. It’s like they’re letting us know that ICE is on the way out. I know that’s where the future is going, but I hope it’s a long way off. Only time will tell.

Mustang Mach E that Everyone says is not a Mustang is outselling its ICE Brethren.
It is also not staying on the lot very long.

I don’t object to it’s coexistence, I just don’t want to see it supplant the ICE models.

I actually encountered one on the road today. I was very unimpressed. Ford definitely didn’t ”have a better idea” on this one.

The have just announced an increase in production of Mach-E''s so I don't think Ford would agree. I think it is a huge turnaround for the brand. It was not so long ago that they were thinking of dropping the Mustang name altogether and limped along for decades as a afterthought. No more though.

Ford may disagree, but I’m speaking from my own perspective. People are going to buy regardless, but I don’t see a Mustang at all when I
look at it. I don’t mind it being called a Mach-E, just drop the Mustang moniker. Park a 2021 Mustang GT beside it, and which one is a Mustang in your eyes? For me, it’s the GT only, not both.

Now you can buy a V8 sound kit for your Mach-E just like you can get for your RC trucks and cars. Did you see this on All Girls Garage?

So, to revisit this 1-1/2 years later (from the original post), I’m not seeing many of these Mach-E cars in the Charlotte area. ICE Mustangs galore, but only 2 Mach-E’s have crossed my path in all that time.

I know (it’s said) that they are selling like hotcakes, and decimating ICE Mustang sales, but they must all be going to CA and WA, or plugged into a wall socket somewhere waiting to hit 80% charge.

Where are these wonderful, precious, masterpiece, Rayovac® powered slot-cars?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate them, but I wouldn’t own one myself. Not while there are still gasoline Mustangs around (wait, maybe I do actually hate them).
