what do you mean at idle, one would assume its in neutral and not moving at idle. however back to the matter at hand, have you checked if your ebrake cable is connected to the ebrake on the rear rotors, or if the cable is broken?

The pads on the rear are fine but when I pull the e brake it won't hold the car even at idle.
there is a method to adjust the ebrake, maybe it has alot of slack on it, i would look on google for how to adjust it it could be possible that it has to be adjusted or the cable is too far stretched out. worst case scenario is the shoes for the ebrake or hardware for it is damaged.Yes the cable is connected. If I put the car in drive and let it idle and pull the e brake the car will slowly come to a stop. It just seems that it should hold the rear brakes more. If my brake booster goes out the e brake won't slow me down at all the way it is now.
