Need help deciding

Okay guys, I've been really torn on this lately and need some opinions. My options are:

Sell the gt and buy a mach or a cobra.

Rebuild the engine and transmission and build up the 2v motor.

I have 163k miles on it, not track abused, but driven like its meant to every now and then.

i would look for a 4v i guess. it all depends on how much u love ur car
Go for a 4v. I had a sick gt but just wasn't enough. Now with the cobra I'm more happier
Can't diss a GT, I owned one for 4 years and loved it! But 4v motors are sweet! Also when I had my GT everything from SI civics to pickup trucks wanted to challenge me. In my Cobra everyone leaves me alone:D

I love the gt but I can't help but worry about the life-span of it with the miles on it.

very true. have u thought about doing an engine swap ? with a fresh new built engine or maybe even finding a 4v engine

The only thing about that is, for the cost of that and a rebuilt transmission to match, it'd be much cheaper and a lot less work to go ahead and buy a cobra/mach
EBay has complete cobra motor and transmissions for around $8,000.00.

You'd have to buy an adapter kit too though correct? For the computer and whatnot. Also, that's what my car is worth lol. That'd be spending 8-9k compared to selling mine and spending 2-4k extra for a cobra/mach

I don't know about the adapter kit, but the one I saw on eBay had the motor, transmission and pedal assembly with 30,000 miles on it.
I see what your saying about selling yours and buying a Cobra/Mach 1. That would be easier for you. But I would buy the motor and put it in and still have my Mustang, but that's just me. LoL
You dont need an adapter kit for 4v 4.6 swap. You can use your gt harness and ecm. You will need to retune the ecm. And the gt transmission will bolt right up. There is a write up on the forum. Search 97 32v swap.
You can build a 2v just as much man. I have a built 2v and i killed plenty of cobras, vettes and even a few Ferrari italias. Just takes money. But build a 2v. Its least expected from people. "O look a 2v. Oh **** its passin me!"
Whats your build might i ask and what did you spend?

Is that why no one comes up to me¿
Ive done a lot of ebay shopping and clearance shopping lol. But i have ported heads stage 2 cams forged rotating assembly with high compression. 410s tko600 tuned with a 150shot. I'm sure I'm missing some
Id still rather have the 4v sorry but for what you like its a great build. Throw spray at the cobra and its back in the lead
