How different are 98 V6 mustang engines from 04 V6 mustang engines as far as hoses go? I want to make sure that this hose kit will work before I buy it.

they are pretty different. single port hose kit wont work on a split port engine due to different amount of hoses and what not

You can get one of the universal kits, and cut them to length.
