Only light clutch that hold is a Center Force Dual Friction.. Other then that converting to a hydraulic set up is really the only other option.

I have Spec clutch stage 2 with a aluminum flywheel. It's pretty soft. Softer than my stock clutch.

Anything 05 and up is hydraulic, that's why.

Nah bro.. That's pretty much the jest of it.. More will chime in here but I'd suggest doing some searches here and Google/other Mustang forums. I'm confident you'll see this is a common issue..
Be glad you didn't get a King Cobra clutch.. Crazy heavy.. Did you al least lube the cable? Use the mounting bracket? Make sure there were no kinks in the cable?
