singleport intake btw

1) at the bottom of the lower, should the air in the port go straight into the head, or 2) should it be narrowed slightly for the head, and hog out the rest of the runner with the narrowest part of the runner is where it is gasket matched.... or should it "fan" out, spread out into the head, and polish the inside of the runner, but don't really port it much, just remove the weld seems. and the gasket line match would be the widest margin?

I have some more where I worked on those heads, I never did finish those though, ended up buying the ones from Morana instead but I did do a lot of work on them.
