Why would you want to chang eto the windstar intake? How does it differ from the intake in our car?

Also, NICE gains man!

thanks guys.

yeah the windstar has longer runners, which will give me more tq...... and from what I've been reading it's better for cars with a longer stroke. because as it is now I can clear the air in the runners, the plentum, and then start to suck in air from the cross over/tb for each stroke. and the crossovers suck on our cars. I've been wondering lately if that's why I'm pulling such high vac numbers.

Jerry told me that if I used an external IAC, like the ones that KenneBell uses, it would fit. And I'm really down for more tq. I'd like to get this car over 300rwtq. that would be cool! oh and 300rwhp. :p

the car is so fun to drive. it's got torque out the yingyang! AND it's getting better milage intown. I think currently I'm getting like 23mpg in town! that's the best I've ever seen intown. makes me wonder if I can get over 30mpg on the road!

Rick, would you happen to have an dynograph of your GT with the data readouts? I wanna compare my tq curve to a GT. I'm very curious!

Justang is a great guy. Most people on 3.8 know that a large percentage of the people that were there who knew a lot about cars are now over here, and we visit them there now and then for a good laugh. ;)

yeah, the design of the mustang upper is horrible for NA applications. I think its bad design is masked when you have a supercharger.

I'm thinking about doing it because I read that with my added stroke I'm clearing the air in my runners, then my plentums, then start to clear the air in the TB area. which could be adding to my increased vac numbers on my dynos.

the longer runners should also give me more tq. I would really like to see 300rwtq out of this cam setup! that would be awesome!

Oh man, I think I need to get dynoed again. I am afraid that one might resemble mine a lot....except I don't have a 5 speed, or an X pipe, the rest is similar.

232.1 or something like that, but I have made quiet a few changes since, that is why I don't use that figure anymore. Can't even remember what the torque figure was now.:)

I am really not interested in trying to get more power from my GT, at least not now, it performs about the way I want it to, in fact its too noisy, I want to quieten it down with some dynomax mufflers as soon as I can. Other than that I am happy with it, doing a few little things to it to make it look prettier, that is about it for now. ;) I would sort of like to have it dynoed again to see what I do have for kicks and giggles, maybe next time someone near gets another group dyno going.
