Well I traded my sixxer in Saturday for a new 13 candy apple red 5.0! I am in love she is everything I hoped she would be! I have been around the site for a few months but just wanted to introduce myself on the gt forum. I already have a bama tuner but figured I should wait a few thousand miles before I tune. Now I assume that since I have the tuner and set my car back to stock before I traded it I can use this tuner for my new car right?!

Thanks for all the kind words I am really happy i loved my 6 but this coyote motor is a beast! That's what I figured about the tuner but just wanted to confirm.

Congratulations on the awesome pick up, you're correct when you say the new coyote motor is a beast! Wait until you start to throw some mods on your new GT, that motor reacts to modifications extremely well.

Thanks Dan I will hit them up as soon as I am ready to tune like grabber said I will probably give it a few thousand before I tune its going to be hard though sinice I will have the tuner sitting right in front of me!

I am really digging it I havent had a chance to drive it a lot yet but man what a difference between it and the 3.7. The sixxer was no slouch by any means but the 5.0 pulls so hard all the way through to redline! Now if I could just figure out how to use sync that lady is like siri on the iphone she doesnt understand my southern twang. lol

Congrats and welcome. I'm looking to buy a 13 as well just haven't made a move yet.

Now wouldnt be a bad time I know the dealership I bought mine from was running some rebate specials and interest specials, they are trying to get the 13's off the lot to make room for the 14's!

I know it sucked having to get rid of the car but sounds like you did it for a great reason man. Not many people would have done that and I respect anybody who is willing to help out their family like that! I hope everything is well and maybe you will be in a new 5.0 again soon!

How you liking the new model??

I am digging it I had a newer six so it is very similar my six didn't have sync and power seats though. With the 5.0 I really feel like I am driving a true muscle car and I get a lot more looks in this car than I did the old one.

It's the manual I enjoy changing gears and don't have to deal a whole lot with traffic.
