Here the cop has to be able to see his partner wave his hand on opposite side with Windows up. They claim It's for safety reasons, yet you can't even see in a police car.

Good info, do you know what they mean by percentage. I've always been confused by it.

The lower the percentage the darker it is... If that makes sense just think the opposite. Like super dark limo tint is 5% I think from factory we a a super light tint like 80 or 90% I think

You put the trash bag on the inside of the window so it traps the heat from the sun and melts the glue. Makes it easier to pull off.

No, but you gotta have pretty dark rear tint to get pulled over unless youve got really bored cops where you live.

interesting they list Ohio as 50% but where I live I looked it up locally with my county and they said 35%...

can it change by county? Can you get in trouble for driving into a different state that requires a lighter tint than what you did?

I am on the verge of a few months out to moving to Kentucky with allows 35% as I checked that, but if I drive into ohio since it will be right there, and let's say it really is 50%, can they do anything too you?

Yeah 20% all around on my truck and it's pretty good. It's not legal for the front windows but it's not that far from 35% that it's that noticeable. I've never had any problems. Plus it's not so dark that I can't see to turn or back up.

Yeah, where I live the cops started impounding cars for having 20" or larger rims. Not that it worked out well for them with all the lawsuits, but they try crap all the time. Since my car is already rediculously loud both from looks and sound standpoint I'd rather not push it with tint too.

Whaaatttt?! I've never heard of rim size mattering I mean besides on a truck being too tall. And then they still aren't allowed to impound it, they have to give an inspection ticket. A lot of my truck is illegal and I haven't had any problems here, although I do know plenty of people that have, the cops must not be as bad here. I wouldn't wanna push it either, especially if they illegally impound cars. Those towing guys can be rough sometimes too.
