New to me Ride

Well folks, it's been 2 years now since we sold our 14 V6PP. We miss that car terribly. On to bigger and better things. When we decided to sell the little pony we picked up a 2017 Edge sport with the 2.7 Ecoboost V6 AWD. It was OK but we couldn't take it anymore. We are old but not that old (72 & 68). We just brought home a 2018 GT Premium 4 days ago. Of course it is Oxford White, so no need to change my avatar. Just be talkin' 2 more cylinders and 150 more HP with 4 more speeds on the tyranny. What a fun car. All the toys it offers to play with is going to be fun to learn. Bringing it home I could not believe the mileage I made at between 28.7-29.1 @ 70mph with cruise control. That was up 101 north from St. Helena tp 299 east 60 miles to home.
Good to be back and I will be exchanging comments and hopefully learning more good stuff about this little pony 2.

YEP!! Plan to, still getting to know the car. Got some ideas for mods in mind. Like to find some wheels but having a tough time finding ones we like that will fit those brakes. Doesn't need exhaust, with track apps it gets plenty loud. Probably just do a drop in filter for air. All I read says CAI is pretty much not needed. Maybe slotted and drilled rotors with some good pads down the road. Good to be back in the saddle.

Put the first coat of wax on the Littlepony 2 this morning. One thing about buying a used car, after a few days tinkering and waxing and such you find all the little dings and dents she has. After all it is a USED car.

I’ve mostly bought new, but even they have minor imperfections. I’m guessing that if I buy again, it’ll be used, it’ll be a GT500, and it’ll be my last.

So been looking at wheels. Tough to to find one we like that fit this car. Kind of liking the Carrol Shelby CS-11 both in gloss black and powder coat chrome @ CJ Pony. Got an opinion folks? let me hear it. Remember, ca is is Oxford White.

Upload a pic of your stock wheels for comparison. I know the CS-11 is well liked, but I’m not a fan personally. I’m hard to satisfy, that’s why I’m still rolling around on my stock Track-Pack wheels … What do I know anyway, lol.

Wife and I just got back from a quick trip to her Doctor, round trip 180+ miles, all on twisty Hwy 299. She averaged 26.5 mpg
What a fun ride, that included a quick run up to 105mph to pass a slow truck. Don't tell anybody.

Kids... Try 84 & 78. We've had our 2008 Mustang GT/CS Convertible for over three years. Bought it for my 81st birthday. we go on road trips during the warmer months, right now a foot of snow and 28 degrees. Pony put away. Reminds us of our Mach I, when we first married 53 years ago. Don't grow old and won't in a Mustang.
