It was still really tight with the 4.6, it's not much smaller than the 5.4. Just a little more deck height on the block. It's definitely a fun job that I hopefully won't ever do again. It seems like I always get stuck with family repairs lol. You really gotta watch those cams too, they will roll a little after the chain is undone. I also avoided unbolting the manifolds so I wouldn't risk breaking half the bolts off.That's where I am at Shane. This is where I wish I had the room the 4.6 gives. So many bolts, screws, washers rusted and so little room to work with. I will have to replace the tub heading from the back of the water pump in the valley of the engine. Your uncle's looks to be in great repair.
