What happens when your car over heats and no check engine lights come on and you lift the hood and see oil spray and some sitting in the oil cap enough to stick my finger in. What would cause that?
If you keep blowing the dipstick out, then you have excessive crankcase pressure. Check, clean or replace the PCV valve and screen. If it overheated severely you may have damaged the piston rings, in which case an engine overhaul or replacement are your only options.I do have to keep pushing the dip stick back Down until it clicks back in sometimes. And it smells like oil. And it only did it when it over heated.
