in the movie "the fast and the furious: Tokyo Drift" they took the parts of a nissan skyline and inserted it into a mustang...
is that possible with other cars, like with a 1971 mach 1 and a newer car...

Yes but it takes a s***load more time and cash than they made it out to be. For starters, the engine that they used is quite complicated to transplant, even in normal Skylines and other Nissans. It's a 2.6L twin-turbo inline-6 engine most commonly seen in the R32-R34 Nissan Skyline GT-Rs. They can withstand quite a bit of horsepower with stock internals, but fitting it into a different car is an entirely different story. Simply because you can't just drop the engine in there. You have to replace everything engine related so that it can withstand the strain of the engine, and a new gearbox to suit it as well.

There is no way I would put a bad azz nissan engine in a mustang

I would simply have a bad azz V8 in the mustang.

Anyone can chemically engineer a motor to have a 1000 HP.

But the motor has to be able to hold it.

Fact is : those little 4 cylinders are not strong enough to hold a 1000 HP.

Yeah professional racers make them..............and tear them apart the next day, if it didn't blow up that run

It works because it expands in the piston chamber and raises the compression ............ not because it is flame-able .

It chemically makes the piston chamber smaller........because it dose not burn

It's in whip cream cans at the grocery store.........and the dentist.......he calls it laughing gas

sure you could do stuff like that, it would just cost more than its worth likely. and for the record there are small four and six cylinders that can make well over 1500 hp for long periods that are under 3 liters with no nitrous or nitro methane. ofenhauser is one example. if you have an old american muscle car id leave and american engine in it as thats great for drag racing. if you want something that drives like a skyline just buy a skyline.
