A buddy wants me to put new headlights fogs and marker lights on his 08 GT . Do I really have to remove the front bumper? If so are there any precautions to take or short cuts to make the job a little faster

No shortcuts that I found....I have mine off at the moment. I do have the factory manuals so I had a map so to speak....It's not that hard. You can probably get the exploded diagram off the internet...if not, let me know and I will take a picture of the diagram and post it.
I got a manual and a few YouTube install vids saved. Just figured I'd ask if anyone here had anyways to make it faster lol

This was my first time, so it took me probably an hour, hour and a half. I could probably do it in 20 minutes now. Put the car up on jack stands, take the wheels off. Make it a whole lot easier.
Ill do that thanks

lol....had to figure out how to upload! It's there now.
Ok after I get the four bolts/clips out of fender well and the two from top of the bumper cover
It'll just pull out ? I see on a video they used a rubber plastic tool to separate bumper from front fender. I don't have that tool. Can u just use putty knife or spatchula. Lol

The #5 screws....the one is really up in the corner and can be hard to see, especially on the passenger side. I used a 1/4" drive with a long wobble extension and a universal.

I didn't use either one. The bumper cover should come off, you need to pull down to clear studs that nuts came off of, then pull straight out. Make sure the tabs on top are free.
