Hey ya’ll so for my 2002 mustang gt it gets up to about 180-190 sometimes mid 170’s for temp during summer. But when its winter, it will usually stay around 160-170 sometimes higher from sitting in traffic. Can i ever floor it or get on the gas when its cold outside? I’m not sure if it needs to be like summer warm to go WOT. I use the x4 digital guage for monitoring coolant temp.

Sure, just make sure you're engine is warmed up. Flooring your car before your oil gets up to operating temperature is really hard on your engine. Also, be careful with cold tires. If you have all season tires, you'll be okay after a little bit of driving on the road. If you have summer tires, you'll never get safe traction below 45°F. That includes straight line or cornering traction.
