Very nice! I just can't understand why people do these huge builds and then turn around and sell them when they are done. SMDH

I have heavily modified a ‘97 Cobra, and sold it because it just rode too hard and was too loud (for my wife......).....Full MM Road and Track package, full Saleen bodywork, full Bassani Cat Back, all carbon fiber dash, chromed out in the engine compartment, Cobra R wheels, under drive pulleys, B and M shifter.....loved that car, but someone else is loving it now.......got over book for it, but still......

All that money and detail and didn't use a DART block? I guess I always have to find something wrong but that is a GLARING issue for a car like this. I know if its me and I'm gonna be paying that kind of money for a car like this it for damn sure is not gonna have a stock block in it... DSS is known for being the "MMR" of the pushrod world as well... so... take that for what you will.

That said, looks wise the car is damn near perfect. Needs to be a notch and a full black interior to be 100% lol.

Can’t argue with him getting $20,000 for a “mileage unknown” ‘91 though......I just went back to look at the car again, and I still think it is one of the prettiest, best modified Mustang’s I’ve ever seen anywhere.
I don’t know why the engine builders did not use a Dart (?) block, or what one is, but the pistons and heads look to be well reinforced for forced injection......and I prefer the fastback body style as well....the pattern in the middle of the seats I could take or leave...meh.

No amount of reinforcement does **** for that block. 450-500 and you have cap walk. Much more and the valley splits. The fact that the owner was dumb enough to use a stock block would be an auto turn off for any car like this. What else was skimped on?

Also it's a dss engine...

Maybe that’s why he is selling it? Someone told him the engine is just waiting to grenade on the next full throttle, redline run? Test drive? We don’t need no stinkin’ test drive!
