Lol thanks for the clarification between crank and wheel haha.

Pretty sure my car puts out 1.21 gigawatts, only other place you'll see that kind of power is a bolt of lightning hahahaha

Ok, even at 6-10 hp is that worth 5-600? Your car your money, and of maximizing hp is your thing then go for it, just my
.02

Anyways I'm willing to bet 415-425

That's all? I would have thought it would at least be in the 450s...I am just learning though

The shop that will be doing the work said that 445 is wat i will make. I am thinking around 430 but they will dyno the car so i guess we will see.

In that case I'd look into heads, cams, and custom dyno tune first, other wise you're pretty much at your limit if you do not wanna do that sort of engine work.

A proper tune will get you there, looks at dwc smozilla, he's got similar mods to what you want and he is at 446 with a great tune

As far as I know the only heads really even available for our care are the boss heads which have something like 4% better flow, then you could go with comp cams or a custom grind cam... Check out JPCracing.com and look at their top dog package, 500 rwhp, package will run you about 5-6k if you give them your stock heads and cams as core charge.

Honestly again, if you wanna make some crazy power to FI, will cost you the same amount but you will get more like 575-650rwhp for that amount

McQueen,

We made 406rwhp on our 2011 GT auto with LT's, O/R Xpipe, Boss intake, CAI, and tune. Now keep in mind that our '11 GT is an auto, so you're going to dyno a bit lower then a manual trans. I would guess that you're going to be in the 425-430rwhp range on a cool day (with a stock TB).

You have a good setup planed for any direction you wanna go in (besides turbo). With our Bama SF3 tuners and Free Tunes for Life program you can get constant tune updates for bolt-on mods and keep your 5.0 running healthy. Plus, if you decide to go with FI, you can still use the SF3 tuner to store custom dyno tunes on, so it's always useful!

Hope this helps!

I have not made up my mind if i want to go with a boss mani and a vortech or with a roush.
Which set up do u recommend for street and heavy track use.

PD is generally considered more fun on street but for track I have seen the best use from centri. PD will roast the tires with instant boost and tq whereas the centri will build boost alont with rpms.

what do you want out of street use is the real question? driveability and slower power build or roast the daggone tires off but instantly gain speed?
