So you live in one state and want to purchase your vehicle from another state? You have to insure the vehicle in the state you reside in. Also, buying a vehicle in another state, might involve paying sales tax in both states.
You will pay sales tax for the car in the state you purchase in and then lic plates and reg tax in the state it will be registered in. You will save on sales tax on the price of the car. That said depending on how far you are going and what the tax difference is, you might not save any money depending on gas to get to and from.
they dont always include them, I had to order more than one to get one.... but I finally found one. You can also have Ford check to see if there are any out there active in your name if you have recently asked for information on a given vehicle.
I just signed for a base v6 a couple of weeks ago. After the initial 1000 in rebates i also got 500 more for being a student and an additional 750 for the brochure rebate. What's cool about that is I didn't even get the rebate, I just mentioned that I ordered a million to everyone i know and they said don't worry about it we have an extra we'll apply it for you needless to say I was ecstatic lol. So yea, after 2250 in rebates and a bunch of haggling I got down to 19800, 21973 out the door.
