I have my 1999 mustang V6 5 speed stick shift and well its my first car and also the ONLY car ive ever driven stick shift in. im normally shifting gears between 2000 and 2500 RPM's. i want to get the best out of my engine as well as gas mileage. am i shifting right or am i off?

That's a good range to be in, higher will only make you go faster and use more gas. I go on up to 5500 when I want to go real fast. YOUR doing right, I dont and still have 249,000 mile on it.
