i have never attended a street car drag race until about a year ago. (only top fuel stuff) i know it's been awhile but i always wondered. when i attended it was a bunch of high school kids with lower powered vehicles (hondas, six banger mustangs, camaros, t/a's, ect.) there was a couple of exceptions including some g.t.s, 5.0's, super sports, and ram airs. my question is that when the higher powered vehicles would shift from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd, their brake lights would flash on and off at the moment of shift. why would that happen?
p.s.
i hate it when it rains. yesterday alone i had a six banger t/a, 2 sixbanger mustangs, 5.0, old chevelle, and GT wanting to race in the rain.
(not all at the same time) i'm stupid cuz i like to street race but i'm not stupid enough to do it in the rain. just my luck though, when it's nice and sunny outside there are never any racers. stupid rain.
