The 2.3 came with the 7.5 I believ. And as for the 5.0 swap Idk, but I knw that the 5.0 came with the 8.8

I'd you're gonna bump up the hp and torque then yes. With a stronger rear end you will be able to handle more power without it breaking

If your swapping in the 5.0L most definitely add the 8.8 also..Ford made the right call when adding the 8.8, perfect fit for most builds. :good:

Great, my next question is will the rear ends swap easily? As in bolt pattern, brake lines and suspension height.

What will I need for the wire harness

Idk the details but you will be able to splice into the existing harness for everything you need.
