Im replacing my head gaskets soon, because one blew. I already have pretty much everything taken off( intake manifold, tb, CAI,valve covers, and everything like that. I just need to take out the valves or whatever they are to get to the gaskets. What should i look out for? I have a 96 body with a 98 V8 in it. Things that i should replace while im down there. Hopefully use the money from taxes

Check the valves to make sure they arent burnt. A bad head gasket usually means it overheated one too many times. If you have the money it might be a good time to have the valves replaced and the valve seats redone since you already have the heads off.
