I know there are a lot drag racers on this forum, are there any road coarse racers out there? If so, what suspension mods do you think is/are the most important? And are there any members in So Cal?

Try the "At the track" section there are quite a few of us. I went ahead and moved the thread there.
I do auto X and I use to do Road course stuff when we still had a local track. Best mods so far for me are a eibah pro plus kit, a fays 2 watts link, and soon (hopefully) a full stifflers chassis stiffening setup. If you really want to dominate at the track, check out agent 47.
I run lapping days for the most part. The biggest issue I've been struggling with is nose dive. Mods that have helped me were some chassis stiffening and getting a good set of shocks/struts and springs. One thing to also consider is getting a more track friendly alignment
I'm getting ready to purchase Koni yellows and maximum motorsport camber plates as well as Steeda bump steer. After that, I'll have a track day and see how it works!
Koni Yellows will fix a LOT of the problems in the factory setup.
I figured I have the money now, so I may as well upgrade the front end. The rear end Suspension is all upgraded. I can't wait until my next track day at Willow Springs Raceway.
So I ordered the Koni yellow struts and shocks from Hypermotive for $600. I was going to get the MM camber plates as well, but Dan gave me a deal on the ground control plates for less! Hopefully by next Saturday they will be installed as well as the Steeda bumpsteer kit I got discounted from American muscle. I can't wait to feel the results.

I drive a 1995 Mustang GT, naturally aspirated with a Ford BOS 302 Racing Engine. I have completely modified the suspension with Maximum Motorsports K member, coil overs, bumps steer kit, lowered springs, Bilstien shocks, 3 point rear connection with Panhard bar.

I am extremely happy with the suspension. I am also running StopTech brakes in front and Cobra vented rotors and calipers in rear.
