Good question. I've been pondering the same thing myself. Which Eibach Springs are you looking at, and are you doing the whole kit or just the springs? I didn't know Roush sold the springs separately.

I don't like Eibach springs personally. IMHO, H&R make the best springs for Mustangs.

What do you not like about them? Have you had and specific bad experiences?
I've driven a few autox setup cars on Eibach Pro-kit springs & found them to be rather soft for a car meant to handle.

The pro-kits are supposed to be softer. The Sport kits are the ones with stiffer/sport ride quality.

Also... was that with the full kit or just the springs?

I've already installed Eibach pro-kit... They are amazing... Handling has a sign of a sport car... But after installing magnaflow competition cat-back, my rear bar began to knock the exhaust system when I caught some holes on the road. That's why I'm thinking to change rear springs to Roush that makes 1 inch instead of 1.5...

Interesting thanks for the info. Post your impressions of the Roush and let us know if it's worth the whopping $1400 once you get it installed please.

Those are just the springs, I was talking about the kit. This stuff is generally designed to work together. Sure, you can just install the springs, but it won't be optimal...

I understand they are softer spring rate than the sportlines, but they felt almost "spongey", so much so that the car actually had more body role in it with the Eibach springs than with the factory springs. The role was bad enough the fenders would rub the side wall of the rear tires under hard-cornering.

This was just the springs as your original thread was only in regards to springs. However, he was running Hotchkiss or HKS sway bars & factory shocks.

My 05 has H&R Race Springs, Koni Sport Yellow Adj. Shocks, & Steeda Adjustable Sway Bars & Competition End links. It's rough ride on bumpy roads, but handles incredibly.

My next purchase is going to be for a fron strut brace & a Watts link rear to replace the panhard bar.

I was talking to Dan, he was interested in changing rear springs, not the whole kit. He never mentioned changing his entire set up....

My 427R came with the Stage 2 Roush Suspension... It is more compliant than the Stage 3 or Trackpack set up...

I have the eibach pro system plus on my 2011 gt and I'm in love. 2nd has never stuck so well and around the corners it is so easy to be confident the cars going to make it. Well worth the money
