I noticed that Rpm is having a summer sale on its 42% reduction crank pulley and new harmonic dampner for 149.95. Will this work ok on a stock 2000 v6? Also is this a ASP pulley they are selling?
Thanks
Steve
yes, it is ASP. RPM knows what they're doing, if they say it'll fit, it'll fit. there are differences though in 99-00 i think and 01-04. you also need a shorter belt but that could be obtained, or at least found what size, through RPM as well.
about mid way through 2000 they changed the balancer, some of them haev a notch in the balancer, some don't. if it does you need the 99-2000 one, if not the 01+.
Received the pulley today after a bit of problem with the initial order. It turns out that the pulley is actually made by Motoblue according to RPM. Its getting installed tomorrow along with new clutch. Cant wait to get behind the wheel and see how this puppy runs now.
