500-700 bcuks off of ebay for a nice set, 98 cobras usually run for around 550 plus shipping, i would buy a set of 03 gt seats or well any 99 up and put the 03 gt head rests on them...sicne you have a pre 99 it wont be quite black enough so you may have to stick with 98 back leather. you can eitehr pay 600~ for seatrs and leather oem ford or pay 800 bucks for covers that wont look as good.
Met a kid the other night. He had a 98 like me, 5spd. The kid had all black leather interior which was like that when he bought it. I sat in it, and said i'm sticking with cloth till i want some bucket seats. Then i will just rip my backseats out and leave it all metal back there. 8)

I want Black leather, with tan suede inlaid. I drove a lightning that had it and that was some comfortable stuff. I have a friend that just keeps buying high performance vehicles and selling them like a year later. He's attempting to get his hands on a R. At the moment he has a 03 Lightning and a 03 ZO6. Sweet vehicles both of them.
the best seats I have sat in are the 03' Cobra Seats, 2 tone and wonderful support in them like racing seats that hug your ever curve.but unfortunately they arent the cheapest either unless you can get a good price on them or find a wrecked one at that. we had paid like 600$ for ours, talked the fella down from 1200$
if i buy them from the dealer in oh, 2 years, brand new, could i get the seats AND the rails from them? or just the seats? I wouldnt have to fab the rails or look left and right for them would i?
most likely if you buy from a dealer, you are going to get the seats only I would think, unless you should specify you want rails too...And they shoudl mount right up.
