Is it possible that my shaker 500 stock head unit makes my speakers sound better than my aftermarket touchscreen head unit? It seems that way but maybe I have it tuned wrong

What was your hookup with Amp? Is it hooked up thru the stock Amplifier or did you attach a after market Amp?

Stereo

Stock amplifier
OK, there is a barrage of questions, but I'll try and keep it simple: Who connected the stereo? 2. Did they run it thru the Amp? I'm not sure how difficult it is running aftermarket stereos thru the stock Amp, I'm sure that's tricky. I ran my stuff thru aftermarket Amps. I run two, 1 for Sub and 1 for all the interior speakers. I believe that running your stereo thru the stock speaker could be the problem you are having, most aftermarket stereo have a little power by itself. Anyway have someone look at that, or if you did it yourself, maybe you missed something in there. The stock Amps is in the back on the side, you don't see it easily. And it does not look like the regular Amps you buy from a shop, stock stuff is kinda weird and looking straight at it you can't really tell what it is. You may need to bypass the stock Amp. But again, have someone take a look at it. My pictures on here of my stuff in the trunk, are not currant, it only shows one Amp. I've since had the second Amp installed, just no updated pictures. My Speakers are: Inside-Shelby GT which are Kicker speakers in the front doors- 6X8, 8" Subs. In rear JL Audio 6X8. In Trunk a JL Audio 10" Subwoofer. Running Speakers is a 1000D mono Memphis Audio running Sub. A Sound Stream "Rubicon" 5 channel running the inside speakers. It Sounds excellent, I'm not saying you need to go buy stuff like that, but you do need to have someone double check your connections. What the watts on your stereo? and what Brand is it?:good:
