Go with 3.73Just wondering what would be better to get.
Crazy accelerationI rarely drive highway so ill probably go with the 4.10s. Is their a noticeable difference in the way my car will drive?
and lousy mileage.Crazy acceleration
+1and lousy mileage.
With 3.73 ur mpg will go down like 3-4 mpg if you go 4.10 u lose like 5-6How much will it affect my mpg?
Also he's in the old 4.0 engine. Same engine they use in the ranger. So it'll only be 5-7 but the needle will make you think 10-12With 3.73 ur mpg will go down like 3-4 mpg if you go 4.10 u lose like 5-6
I don't think he's going that far hasan lol, 4.10s are old school gears to me. I'm getting 3.55-3.73 and leaving her N/A.I was going to get 4.10s, but I was planning on a turbo, and since tubo works on a load, ima go with 3.55s
It depends on your goal.
Are you staying N/A or going FI, if so, what type?

Just fear the gas!! It eats up gas like there's no tomorrow!! My friend just installed 4.10's and it's crazy how fast it eats up gas! Lol I got 3.73'sIf I was going na I'd get 4.10s
Never fear the gear!
Especially in an auto
My 2.73 gears run just under 2k @85 mph. So maybe 3k or so with 4.10sSave the install cost and trade it in for a 2011+. That engine isn't going to perform very well regardless of what gears you're running, and 4.10 would be a HUGE highway MPG loss. I don't know what your 5th gear ratio is, but it's going to tach very high with 4.10s.
